Meet The Team
PATRICK DK GESIK, DPT
Patrick was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai’i. Growing up with two parents as physical therapists he spent a lot of time in their clinic in Kaimuki. Little did he know cleaning their baseboards and equipment would leave such an impression later in life. As an athlete growing up playing sports and having injuries he quickly understood the benefits “hands-on” physical therapy had to offer in giving relief and returning him back to play.
Patrick went to THE Oregon State University (Go Beavs!) where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in General Sciences with a minor in Chemistry in 2007. He then received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 2010. After graduating, he did a two year fellowship training program at his parent’s physical therapy clinic in Eugene, Oregon. No longer cleaning baseboards, he learned many lessons in how to assess, treat and manage patients along with running a clinic. In 2013, Patrick moved home to Hawai’i to be closer to family and to work with the local community. He feels fortunate to go to work and continue his family’s legacy. In 2017, Patrick was honored with the Small Business Association award for "Young Entrepreneur of the Year". https://www.hawaiibusiness.com/the-best-of-small-business-sba-awards-2017/6/ In his free time Patrick enjoys playing basketball, tennis, swimming, running and ping-pong with his wife. He enjoys the island lifestyle with going to the beach and enjoying the outdoors. ERIN NAKATSUKA, DPT
